Position: Quality Team Manager – Mirror Division
Location: Knoxville, TN
This is a Direct-Hire position paying between $140,000-$160,000
, depending on the level of experience.
Provide Quality Management support for the Mirror Division. Direct and develop all personnel in the execution of quality policies and procedures. Lead, direct, and mentor the Quality Group. Provide product and process support to internal and external functions. Responsible for Quality KPIs and driving continuous improvement throughout mirror manufacturing operations.
Responsibilities- Manage the activities of the Quality Assurance, Quality Control, Launch APQP, Test Lab, Customer Care, and Warranty teams for the Mirror Division.
- Direct quality systems development, implementation, and maintenance.
- Serve as the primary facilitator for corrective and preventive actions.
- Provide internal and external quality support through all phases of mirror product development and manufacturing.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure quality standards are maintained throughout production.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and manufacturing performance.
- Support the resolution of internal and external product, process, and engineering quality concerns.
- Monitor and report on key quality metrics to drive operational excellence and customer satisfaction.
- 5+ years of experience in an automotive manufacturing environment with a strong background in Quality.
- 2+ years of successful experience managing employees.
- Previous Quality Engineering and/or Quality Management experience required, preferably supporting automotive mirror products or related automotive components.
- Associate degree with a professional certification required.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Thorough knowledge of quality systems, standards, and procedures.
- Working knowledge of ISO and IATF automotive requirements.
- Strong understanding of APQP, PPAP, and automotive customer quality requirements.
- Proven ability to lead quality initiatives and drive continuous improvement in a manufacturing environment.
