Job Title: Industrial Electrician

Location: Clinton, TN – One Quality Circle, Tennessee

Shift: 1st Shift (8:00 AM – 4:30 PM, Monday–Friday)

Employment Type: Full-Time, On-site

Salary: $32.00 per hour (plus experience)

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, repair, and maintain electrical components of industrial equipment such as motors, drives, PLCs, and controls
• Work as a team member or alone to complete projects
• Read and understand technical diagrams and blueprints
• Perform general electrical maintenance
• Inspect transformers and circuit breakers and other electrical components
• Troubleshoot electrical issues using appropriate testing devices
• Repair and replace equipment, electrical wiring, or fixtures
• Follow National Electrical Code and state and local building regulations
• Install conduit and wireway ducts

Education / Experience:

• Completion of electrician apprenticeship
• Experience working as an industrial electrician
• Experience in industrial and/or commercial electrical systems
• Demonstrable ability to use electrical and hand tools and electrical drawings and blueprints
• Thorough knowledge of safety procedures and legal regulations and guidelines
• Excellent critical thinking and problem‑solving ability
• Availability for overtime and emergency situations if needed
• Diploma in relevant vocational training or successfully completed apprenticeship as an electrician
• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to work unsupervised on tasks and work well with others when needed

Skills / Knowledge / Ability:

• Extensive knowledge of motor controls, troubleshooting, electrical schematics, and blueprints, including electronic theory and principles
• Working knowledge of three-phase motors, programmable logic controls, motor control circuits, computer interfaces, frequency drives, and National Electrical Code; must read and create electrical ladder schematics and troubleshoot industrial controls
• Proficient at replacing and installing electrical components such as heaters, relays, switches, motors, circuit breakers, power wiring, conduit, and sensors
• Proficient at working with voltages, including 480 VAC, 277 VAC, 120 VAC, voltage controls, and 24 VDC controls
• Good knowledge of heating and air conditioning systems
• Good knowledge of test equipment
• Able to lift 55 lbs

Preferred Experience:

• 4 years of electrical experience
• 5 years of experience (additional experience desired)
