Delivery Driver

Summary

Position requires a minimum age of 18, a valid driver’s license with a safe driving record meeting company standards, and access to an insured vehicle for delivery duties.

• Operate all equipment.
• Stock ingredients from the delivery area to storage, work area, and walk‑in cooler.
• Prepare products.
• Receive and process telephone orders.
• Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
• Clean equipment and facility approximately daily.
• Orient and train on the job.
• Communicate verbally with customers and co‑workers to process orders both over the phone and in person.

• Mathematical proficiency: add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly (calculator may be used).
• Must be able to give correct monetary change.
• Verbal, written, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
• Motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers for rapid, precise movements.
• Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
• Navigate a map, locate addresses within a designated delivery area, and navigate adverse terrain, including multi‑story buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites while carrying product.

Standing, walking, sitting, lifting, carrying, pushing, and climbing are required. Tasks include:

• Standing most tasks from a standing position on surfaces such as ceramic tile, linoleum, or work areas.
• Walking short distances for short durations; delivering between store and vehicle and to customer locations.
• Sitting normally for paperwork at a desk or table.
• Lifting cases of ingredients and supplies up to 50 pounds and 3' × 1.5'. Cases are stacked onto shelves up to 72
