We are seeking dedicated Children’s Support Workers for our clients residential services in the Clitheroe area. We have opportunities available for both day shifts and waking night shifts. You will play a vital role in providing a secure, nurturing, and structured environment for children and young people.
Key Responsibilities:
* Providing consistent, child-centred care during day shifts or waking night duties.
* Day Workers:
Assisting with school runs, activities, appointments, and daily routines.
* Waking Night Workers:
Ensuring safety, monitoring the home overnight, and handling any night-time distress.
* Transporting children to appointments, school, and social activities using company or personal vehicles.
* Documenting daily progress, handovers, and incident reports.
Requirements:
* Full UK Driving Licence is essential due to the rural location and travel requirements.
* Experience working with children or young people in residential care or youth services.
* Ability to work flexible shift patterns (Days or Waking Nights).
* Patient, resilient, and engaging personality
