About the Position
Seeking an experienced Hematologist Oncologist for locum coverage in a collaborative hospital-based oncology program. This position includes inpatient rounding, outpatient clinic coverage, and potential telehealth services across two hospital sites.
The practice provides strong clinical support, imaging, lab, pharmacy services, and 1:1 nursing assistance. Average hospital census is 10–15 patients per day with clinic volume ranging from 10–30 patients daily.
Job Responsibilities
Provide medical Hematology/Oncology coverage
Inpatient rounding at two facilities
New consults (40 minutes) & follow-ups (20 minutes)
Develop and adjust treatment plans
Chemotherapy oversight and management
Coordinate ancillary and supportive care services
Participate in call rotation
Qualifications
Board Certified or Truly Board Eligible in Hematology & Oncology
Fellowship Trained
Active IA License or IMLC
Experienced provider required
Ability to work at both hospital sites
Clean malpractice/background history
Compensation: Inquire for details
Working Hours
2 Weeks On / 2 Weeks Off
Clinic: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
