A prominent healthcare group in  Des Moines, IA  is seeking a  full-time Otolaryngologist  for a  locum-to-perm  position offering  $350/hr ,  comprehensive malpractice coverage .

This is a rare, high-quality opportunity for an experienced ENT physician seeking long-term stability, strong clinical support, and a balanced mix of clinic, inpatient, OR, and call coverage.

Location:

Des Moines, Iowa (clinic coverage also in Clive, IA)

Pay Rate:
$350/hr

Coverage:  Full malpractice

Assignment Type:
Full-time Locum-to-Perm

Schedule:

Clinic:  Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM

Patient contact hours:  36 per week

OR Days:  Based on block/open time; coordinated with OR team

Call:  Included in call schedule (hospital call + clinic hours)

Clinic Volume:  30+ patients per day

Appointment Length:  15 minutes

Setting:  Mix of inpatient and outpatient ENT

EMR:  EPIC

Teaching Opportunity:  Yes

Support Staff:

1:1 Physician–Nurse ratio

1:1 ancillary support

2–3 exam rooms per provider

Additional Onsite Services:

Access to imaging, lab, and pharmacy in same building

Clinical Scope
This practice provides  full-spectrum ENT services , including:

Comprehensive outpatient ENT care

Inpatient ENT consults & management

OR procedures as available

Call coverage (hospital and after-hours)

✔ Candidate Requirements

Board Certified in Otolaryngology

Active IA License or active IMLC

Full-Time Availability

Experienced ENT Physician

Clean malpractice & background

Must be willing to consider permanent placement (attestation required)
