Job Description6.75 hr/day, 8:45 am – 4:00 pm M, Tu, Th, F; 3 hr on W 8:45-11:45. Applicant will hold or be willing to get a para-educator certification. Experience working with children. 4 yr or 2 yr college experience or para educator certification.
Performs clerical duties, provides general student supervision, and works cooperatively with the classroom teacher in serving the needs of preschool students. May also be expected to assist with specific student needs. Needs of the students can generally be met through the consultative or collaborative teaching models. Preschool classrooms generally have 15 students.
Qualifications- Para-educator certification or willingness to obtain certification.
- Experience working with children.
- 4‑year college degree or 2‑year college experience.
- Ability to perform clerical duties and provide general student supervision.
- Willingness to assist with specific student needs and support consultative or collaborative teaching models.
