Our manufacturing client in West Des Moines is looking for a Materials Specialist!
This position will be responsible for facilitating manufacturing and materials processing for new and existing clients.
Pay: $26-32/hour DOE
Hours: 8am-4:30pm Monday-Friday
Job Duties:
- Build cut sheets.
- Create Bill of Materials and quote products for customers.
- Order customer parts and materials.
- Track and maintain part numbers, quantities, and order revisions.
- Update materials list as changes occur.
- Create blueprints and draft instructions for manufacturing and assembly.
- Work directly with customers to identify needs, resolve issues, and recommend solutions.
- 2-5 years' experience in a professional manufacturing, materials, or production environment AND 1-3 years' experience with sales and/or customer service.
- Computer proficiency.
- Strong attention to detail and communication skills.
- 2-4 year degree in relevant field OR technical degree.
