Travel Rehab RN

TNAA Total Med RN is seeking a travel RN in Rehabilitation for a 13‑week assignment at a Rehabilitation Hospital in Clive, Iowa.

• Provide direct patient care to individuals recovering from neurological, orthopedic, or other rehabilitation needs.
• Collaborate with physicians, physical therapists, occupational therapists, and other team members to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Regularly assess patients’ physical and mental condition, monitor vital signs, neurological function, and progress in therapy; adjust care plans as necessary.
• Administer medications as prescribed, monitor for side effects, ensure proper dosage and timely delivery, and assist with pain management strategies.
• Educate patients and families about recovery goals, rehabilitation techniques, safety precautions, and strategies to promote independence in daily activities.
• Respond to medical emergencies, stabilize patients, and act quickly when needed.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in the electronic health record (EHR).
• Assist with discharge planning, including home modifications, continued therapies, and follow‑up appointments.
• Work closely with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care tailored to each patient’s needs.

• At least 1 year of experience as an RN in a rehabilitation setting.
• BLS certification (required); additional certifications may be required.
• Eligible for state licensure.
• Ability to stand or walk for long periods and lift with proper body mechanics.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills; compassionate and patient‑centered.

Total Med Travel Job . Pay package is based on 12‑hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
