Electrical Supervisor – Journeyman Electrician

We're looking for a second experienced Electrical Supervisor to join our leadership team at Custom Electrical Services. This is a great opportunity to step into a proven role where you'll share responsibilities with another experienced supervisor, providing strong leadership and helping us deliver exceptional service to our customers.
Requirements- Journeyman Electrician license (State of Iowa)
- Minimum of 4 years of residential construction wiring experience
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Supervise and coordinate daily activities of electrical crews on job sites
- Review plans, blueprints, and specifications to ensure proper execution
- Monitor progress, troubleshoot issues, and adjust as needed to meet deadlines
- Provide accurate job estimates from visual inspections or blueprints
- Enforce compliance with all local/national electrical codes and safety standards
- Maintain detailed records and ensure proper invoicing
- Collaborate with project managers and other supervisors for a smooth project flow
- Mentor junior electricians and foster a safety-first, high-quality work culture
- Meet with customers on-site to discuss project needs and updates
- Work alongside another skilled Electrical Supervisor for balanced workload and collaboration
- Lead a talented crew of electricians with the support of a well-established operations team

- Licensed Journeyman Electrician (or equivalent)
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in electrical supervision or a similar leadership role
- 4 years or more of residential electrical construction experience
- Strong understanding of local and national electrical codes
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and teams simultaneously
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Proficient in basic computer operations and software
- Ability to type 35+ words per minute
- Outstanding customer service skills
- Must pass a drug test and background check
- Clean driving record and valid driver's license
