As a Maintenance Engineer at Marriott in our Engineering & Maintenance department, you'll ensure the safe, reliable operation of hotel facilities within a world class Hospitality & Travel environment. You'll perform routine and preventive maintenance on HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and guestroom systems, respond to service requests, and support renovations and equipment upgrades. Collaborating with a people first team, you'll uphold brand, safety, and quality standards while helping deliver exceptional guest experiences and supporting Marriott's global portfolio and your long term career growth.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine and preventive maintenance on HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems to ensure safe, efficient hotel operations
- Respond promptly to guest and staff maintenance requests, diagnosing issues and completing quality repairs with minimal downtime
- Conduct regular inspections of guestrooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces, documenting findings and corrective actions
- Support capital projects, equipment upgrades, and vendor coordination in alignment with Marriott brand and safety standards
- Maintain accurate maintenance logs, work orders, and inventory of tools and spare parts
- Follow all safety, compliance, and environmental policies, including lockout/tagout and OSHA standards
- Collaborate with Engineering & Maintenance team to prioritize work, share technical knowledge, and ensure timely completion of tasks
- Provide on-call support, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed to support 24/7 hotel operations
Required Skills

- Preventive maintenance planning and execution
- Use of hand and power tools safely
- Reading technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics

- Knowledge of safety, fire, and building codes
