Pay: HK $24,170 to HK $30,809 (HGPS 7 to 11) per month including Monthly Allowance

Key Responsibilities:

To lead/supervise teams of supporting staff/technical staff in providing various services, and outsourced contract management in the following areas: domestic and transportation services, pest control, gardening, waste management, staff accommodation, emergency support and other supporting services, etc.

To conduct regular inspection round to ward/ patient areas/ units/ staff accommodation and any public areas within hospital compound.

Liaise with other department heads and service contractors in provision of services and to monitor service performance.

To handle emergencies, other ad hoc incidents independently and to prepare necessary logistics, reports and documentation to hospital managers.

To prepare and review the standard of procedures and work instructions.

To provide support in Hospital Resources Command Centre.

To assist in manpower planning and staff issues including: recruitment, orientation and training, staff discipline, supervision and management of supporting service staff.

To assist in complaint /incident investigation, report and carry out the follow up actions.

To control and maintain stock of materials and other equipment items.

To perform shift duties, may be required to work overtime, and is required to report duty during adverse weather such as typhoon and black rainstorm and other emergencies.

To monitor the daily operation and performance of Out-sourced contractors & Supporting Staff.

To perform any other duties as assigned by supervisors.

Entry Requirements:

(a) 3 years’ satisfactory service in the HA, or

(b) 2 years’ supervisory experience in hospitals, hotels, cleansing service, facilities management or other related services/ industries.

Have shown the potential to lead and supervise staff.

Preferable Attributes/Exposure:

Knowledge in the application of common computer software including Microsoft Office, email and Chinese Word Processing etc.

Good command of Chinese and English.

Ability in handling ad-hoc and emergency duties.

Mature, responsible, self-motivated and able to work independently.

Good communication, interpersonal and supervisory skills.

Great flexibility and able to handle multi-tasks.

Experience in related field and handling of hospital system (Staff Rostering System (SRS), Enterprise Asset Management (EAM), Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) & Automatic Dispatching System (ADS) would be an advantage.

Committed to serve the hospital by executing departmental policy or work plan and etc.
