SPECIAL EDUCATION TEACHER - SCHOOL YEAR
Terms of EmploymentThis is a ten-month, tenure-track position with a start date of September 1, 2026. New Hire Orientation will take place the week of August 24, 2026. Performance will be evaluated annually in accordance with New Jersey State law. This position is covered under the Closter Education Association and Closter Board of Education Collective Bargaining Agreement (2025–2026). The salary range for this position is $57,904 to $86,371, commensurate with degree and graduate credits as outlined in the negotiated salary guide.
This salary range considers the applicant's experience, qualifications, and skill sets. This Position includes a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, prescription, and dental coverage, tuition reimbursement, and sick and personal leave.
