Pay :HK $53,737 to HK $88,971 (HGPS Point 22 to 33) per month including Monthly Allowance
Up to 15% of total basic salary (after deducting the contribution of Mandatory Provident Fund by Hospital Authority) as end-of-contract gratuity may be offered to contract staff upon completion of the contract subject to satisfactory performance.
++Key Responsibilities++
Take charge of the audiometric testing and hearing aid services of the department.Conduct hearing tests and recommend hearing aids for the hearing impaired.Assist in conducting free-field hearing tests.Provide on-the-job training to junior staff.Perform duties as assigned by supervisors.++Entry Requirements++
A certificate of audiology technicians’ training course from an institution recognised by the British Association of Audiology Technicians or the British Society of Audiology; or equivalent.A certificate of qualifying examinations from the British Association of Audiology Technicians or the British Society of Audiology (Audiology Technicians Group); or equivalent.2 years’ experience as an Audiology Technician.++Preferred Attributes++
Fluency in written English and Chinese as well as spoken English and Cantonese.Communication skill.Empathy.Commitment to patient care.Leadership.Interpersonal skills.++Remarks++
