Job Summary

The Technical Administrative Assistant II provides advanced administrative support to field teams and deployable personnel, including managing complex travel logistics, medical clearances, and high‑level administrative tasks. This role requires strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while serving as a key coordination point between technical teams, leadership, and external customers.

The ISR (Intelligence, Surveillance & Reconnaissance), Aviation, and Security (IAS) business area is a leader in ISR and aviation, a prime integrator for innovative, high‑performance ISR and aviation systems. Its end‑to‑end C4

ISR capabilities encompass design, integration, test, certification, ground/flight training and full logistics support, tailoring solutions to customer cost, performance, and schedule requirements.

Responsibilities
  • Assemble and manage comprehensive deployment packages.
  • Coordinate and manage detailed travel logistics for field teams.
  • Oversee and manage comprehensive medical, dental, and vision requirements for deployed personnel.
  • Prepare, review, and submit detailed expense reports and purchase requisitions.
  • Maintain and manage office supply inventory efficiently.
  • Initiate, track, process, and verify complex data from multiple sources.
  • Efficiently utilize various IT platforms for daily administrative tasks.
  • Coordinate and communicate effectively with contacts on military bases and government buildings.
  • Prepare and edit communications, presentations, and documents.
  • Act as a liaison between executives and internal/external stakeholders.
  • Handle high‑level administrative tasks with a focus on business operations.
  • Facilitate coordination between teams and departments.
  • Support onboarding and training for new employees.
  • Organize team‑building and employee engagement activities.
  • Draft and review internal and external communications.
  • Handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Manage the flow of information and communications.
Qualifications – Must Have
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1+ years of relevant experience (higher‑level degree may substitute).
  • High energy and a proactive work style—anticipate needs before they arise.
  • Strong tenacity—ability to follow through, push projects forward, and overcome obstacles.
  • Exceptional integrity—handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Confidence to speak up, ask clarifying questions, and raise concerns.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and multitask under pressure.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Solid organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Comfort working independently while remaining highly collaborative.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, One Note, SharePoint Online).
Qualifications – Prefer
  • Experience in the aerospace and defense industry.
  • Proficient with travel and expense platforms (e.g., Concur).
  • Experience with project management applications (e.g., Smartsheet or Microsoft Project).
  • Proficient knowledge of administrative practices including preparing expense reports and purchase requisitions and coordinating meetings, events, and travel.
  • Professional demeanor and excellent communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work well with teams.
  • Ability to develop solutions to moderately complex problems by applying experience and knowledge.
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information.
Essential Functions
  • Ability to lift up to 20 lbs regularly.
  • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods.
  • Proficiency with computers and office equipment.
  • Manual dexterity for handling office supplies and equipment.
