Automotive Technician

Toyota of Clovis, a Penske Automotive Group dealership, is looking for an experienced Automotive Technician to join our team and deliver extraordinary customer experiences.

As a Flat Rate Automotive Technician, you'll diagnose, repair, and maintain vehicles in accordance with manufacturer and dealership standards while delivering an exceptional customer experience.

Pay for this position is based on production. Starts at flat rate at $33.80 per hour. Expected pay is $70K- $115K per year based on productivity and qualifications.

• Previous experience as a Toyota Technician is highly preferred
• Experienced dealership technicians from other automotive brands are encouraged to apply.
• Minimum of 3 years of dealership technician experience as an Automotive Technician, Flat Rate Technician, Master Technician, or Diagnostic Technician.
• Strong diagnostic, electrical, and mechanical repair skills.
• Safe working knowledge of shop tools, diagnostic equipment, and repair procedures.
• ASE certifications are a plus.

Supervisory Responsibility None

Work Environment Will primarily work in an automotive shop environment. Workspace is covered but may involve various weather conditions such as heat and cold as well as safety hazards due to the nature of work. May experience loud noise on a regular basis.

Physical Demands Medium/Heavy Work---Will lift over 50 pounds with assistance device required and/or frequent lifting or carrying of objects weighing up to or over 35 pounds with assistance device available as needed. This position will require the employee to be standing for prolonged periods of time. This position requires the ability to push, pull, climb, stoop, kneel, reach, grasp, and walk on a regular basis.

This position involves repetitive motion. This position requires the ability to talk and hear. Position Type/Expected Hours of Work Work evening, weekend, and holiday work hours as required.
