This General Ophthalmologist position offers a balanced clinical practice consisting of approximately 80% outpatient clinic and 20% surgical procedures. The role focuses primarily on comprehensive ophthalmology with cataract surgery as the primary surgical procedure, supported by advanced ophthalmic technology, experienced ophthalmic technicians, and a robust physician support network. • Provide comprehensive ophthalmology care including routine eye examinations, disease diagnosis, and treatment planning
• Perform cataract surgery and other ophthalmic surgical procedures in state-of-the-art operating rooms
• Manage a diverse patient population with various ophthalmic conditions and diseases
• Collaborate with multi-specialty physicians and healthcare professionals within the medical group
• Maintain accurate medical records using electronic health record (EHR) systems
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and clinical protocols
• Provide patient education regarding eye health, treatment options, and preventive care
• Maintain clinical competency through continuing medical education (CME) and professional development

• Medical Degree: MD or DO from an accredited medical school
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Ophthalmology by the American Board of Ophthalmology
• Completion of accredited Ophthalmology residency training program
• Eligible for California medical license or currently licensed in California
• Strong clinical skills in general ophthalmology and cataract surgery
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for patient care and team collaboration

• Competitive Starting Salary: $385,000 annually with structured increases reaching up to $480,000
