Engineering-in-Training Responsibilities

Creeks is seeking an Engineer-in-Training to work under the direction of a Project Engineer or Manager on our Public Works team. Responsibilities include preparing calculations; assisting with technical reports, technical exhibits, and construction plans; drafting topographic surveys and technical specifications; conducting spreadsheet calculations and site visits; and documenting site conditions for typical civil engineering projects. The position will primarily entail office work.
Works
The Engineer-in-Training reports to the Public Works Project Engineer or Manager and supports project delivery from conceptual design through construction.
Minimum Qualifications- B.S. in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 3–5 years of engineering experience.
- Experience preparing plans and engineering designs for various civil projects.
- Engineer in Training certificate.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD (version 2009 or higher, Civil 3D preferred).
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Experience with Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel.
The salary will be commensurate with skill and experience and highly competitive with industry standards. The expected pay range is $32 to $44 per hour.
