Field Engineer​/Entry-level Geologist; PT- Clovis, CA

Entry-Level Geologist, Engineer or Environmental Specialist

We're seeking a part-time entry-level geologist, engineer or environmental specialist to join our team in Clovis, CA. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate to launch their career in environmental consulting. We are looking for someone eager to learn, committed to professional growth, and motivated to contribute to the successful execution of environmental projects.

Key responsibilities include:

• Support project managers with field investigations, data analysis, and report preparation
• Develop an understanding of regulatory requirements and apply current methods, procedures
• Perform field sampling of various environmental media
• Compile, evaluate, interpret and present environmental data to support a variety of environmental projects
• Collaborate with geologists, engineers, contractors, and regulatory agencies to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal environmental regulations
• Adhere to company safety policies and applicable environmental health and safety standards during field and office activities

Qualifications include:

• Education: BS in Geology, Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science or related field
• Certification: GIT or EIT certification in CA preferred, or willingness to obtain
• Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication, organizational, and teamwork skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite required. Familiarity with GIS application is preferred
• Additional: Ability and willingness to perform both field and office work, including occasional travel and work in varying outdoors conditions.
• Licenses: Valid Driver's License with good record (company vehicle provided)
