Entry-Level Geologist/Engineer
We are seeking an entry-level Geologist/Engineer to join our team in Clovis, CA. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate interested in geology or civil engineering to start their career in Geotechnical Engineering and Construction Testing & Inspection.
We are looking for someone eager to learn, committed to professional growth, and motivated to contribute to meaningful fieldwork and project support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct geological site investigations and provide detailed reports
- Assess geological hazards and provide foundation recommendations for engineering designs
- Perform field mapping, subsurface exploration and lab analysis of soil samples.
- Develop erosion control plans and advise on environmental impact considerations
- Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and regulatory agencies to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
Qualifications:
- Education:
BS in Geology, Engineering Geology or Civil Engineering - Certification: EIT certification in CA preferred, or willingness to obtain
- Skills:
Strong interest in California geology, seismic risk assessment, and environmental regulations. Excellent communication, teamwork, and organizational skills. - Licenses:
Driver's License with good record (company vehicle provided)

Compensation: $70,000 – $75,000 annually
