About This RoleThe Customer Order Coordinator is responsible for managing the customer order lifecycle from order receipt through shipment. This role ensures accurate order entry, inventory verification, production coordination, and timely customer fulfillment while serving as a key liaison between Sales, Customer Service, Production, Warehouse, Shipping, and Accounting.
The Customer Order Coordinator works proactively to ensure customer expectations are met, inventory is available, and orders are fulfilled accurately and on time.

Schedule: 7:00am to 5:00pm, Onsite, In Person
Compensation: $18-25 DOE
What You'll Do- Receive orders
- Order entry
- Ensure product inventory
- Coordinate with scalehouse/warehouse
- Coordinate with outside transportation
- Coordinate with QA
- Coordinating fulfillment
- Confirm orders & changes to customer
- Managing backorders
- Manage contract balances
- Manage shipping docs
- Ensuring customer orders ship on time
- Notifying appropriate parties of short ships
- Data entry and report administration
- Ability to use a computer most of the day
- Food manufacturing experience is a plus
- AA degree or equivalent preferred.
- 2+ years of customer service or order processing experience; experience in food manufacturing or food service strongly preferred.
- Proficiency with Business Central ERP (or similar systems) for order management and inventory lookup.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, formulas).
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive customer relationships.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Collaborative, proactive, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment.
Work Environment Requirements
- Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, talk, and use a computer and phone.
- Occasionally lift up to 20 pounds.
- Primarily office-based; may visit production areas where conditions include noise, humidity, cold temperatures, moving mechanical parts, and slippery floors (slip-resistant shoes required).
