Position Overview
Apartment Management company is seeking a reliable and hardworking Maintenance Technician/Painter to join their maintenance team immediately.
This individual will assist with a variety of facility maintenance and groundskeeping tasks, including painting, basic repairs, and general upkeep of the property.
This is a contract-to-hire opportunity with long-term potential for the right candidate.
Location:
Fresno, CA
Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Job Type: Contract-to-Hire
Hourly Rate: $22
Responsibilities- Perform interior and exterior painting projects as assigned
- Assist with basic maintenance repairs, including fixing toilets and other minor plumbing issues
- Support general building maintenance and repairs
- Perform groundskeeping duties, including cleaning and property upkeep
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment
- Work collaboratively with the maintenance team to complete projects in a timely manner
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies
- Previous maintenance, painting, handyman, or groundskeeping experience preferred
- Ability to use basic hand and power tools safely
- Strong work ethic and willingness to assist with a variety of tasks
- Reliable transportation and valid driver's license required
- Ability to lift, carry, and move materials as needed
- Dependable attendance and punctuality are essential
- Contract-to-hire position
- Three-month probationary period
- Casual dress code: jeans and t-shirt permitted
- Painting attire will be provided
- Company uniform provided after successful completion of the probation period
- Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check
