Responsibilities- Receive incoming shipments, ensuring boxes and/or containers are free of damage.
- Open boxes of inventory and carefully inspect paperwork and box contents.
- Perform receiving inspection and check off the paperwork.
- Assemble kits by pulling separate parts and assembling them into one kit in a baggie or container.
- Pull parts from the inventory shelves and give the parts to technicians.
- Communicate with technicians to ensure accuracy of the parts and quantities.
- Enter part numbers, quantities, and work order numbers into the computer system.
- Look up inventory part numbers and quantities in the computer system.
- Place inventory in proper containers on the shelf.
- Ensure the parts room is clean and organized.
- Perform inventory cycle counts to verify quantity and availability.
- Support the shipping department as required.
- Open customer unit deliveries and carefully inspect paperwork and box contents.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
- Clear handwriting.
- Ability to accurately count parts, even very small parts.
- Ability to efficiently use a computer keyboard to enter data and look up information.
- Ability to stand at a counter for a few hours at a time each day, and/or sit on a stool at a counter.
- Ability to communicate in a friendly and outgoing way.
- Ability to lift and move parts up to 50 pounds.
- Regular use of a push-cart to transport most heavy items.
- Excellent attendance and a positive attitude.
- 1‑2 years in a related field.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Highly responsive to internal and external customer requirements, with a high attention to detail.
- Must work well with others.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks.
- Strong data entry skills and the ability to be fast and accurate.
- Enjoy working in a fast‑paced environment.
- Must be flexible to work long hours, including weekends, as needed.
- Frequently required to stand, walk, sit, and use hands to perform PC keyboarding for extended periods.
- Must occasionally lift and/or move up to fifteen pounds.
Pay Range: $18.00 – $20.00 per hour.
