This role supports a high-volume fruit production facility by packing, stacking, and inspecting products on the production line. You will work at the Cedar and Alluvial locations, helping ensure fruit is packaged safely, efficiently, and to quality standards. English comprehension is required to follow instructions, safety procedures, and production guidelines.
Responsibilities- Pack and stack fruit on the production line according to established procedures and quality standards.
- Assist with general production tasks, including loading, unloading, and organizing materials as needed.
- Inspect fruit and packaging for quality, cleanliness, and correct labeling, reporting any issues to the appropriate personnel.
- Operate within both Cedar and Alluvial facilities as assigned, maintaining flexibility to move between locations.
- Lift, carry, push, and pull materials and products, including lifting up to 40 pounds and pushing or pulling up to 400 pounds with equipment support.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, following all food safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Follow all safety protocols, including proper use of personal protective equipment such as smocks, hair nets, beard nets, bump caps, and non-slip shoes.
- Work efficiently in a fast-paced, repetitive production environment while meeting production targets and deadlines.
- Adapt to varying production needs, including different lines, tasks, and schedules as required.
- Communicate effectively in English to understand instructions, safety information, and production updates.
- Ability to perform general production, packing, and stacking tasks in a food manufacturing environment.
- Capability to lift at least 40 pounds and to push or pull up to 400 pounds using appropriate equipment.
- Willingness and ability to perform physical, repetitive work for the duration of the shift.
- Flexibility to work different schedules, including day and night shifts and weekends as needed.
- English comprehension skills sufficient to understand instructions, safety guidelines, and production requirements.
- Ability to work in extreme temperatures, including hot and cold environments.
- Reliability and punctuality to support consistent production operations.
- Attention to detail for basic inspection of products and packaging.
Skills & Qualifications
- Previous experience in general production, packaging, or food processing environments.
- Experience with packing, stacking, and general labor in manufacturing or warehouse settings.
- Comfort working in a structured, process-driven environment with set procedures and standards.
- Willingness to work in different roles on the production floor, including stacking, packing, and inspection.

WorkEnvironment
The role is based in a peach and strawberry food production facility operating at Cedar and Alluvial locations. You will work on a production floor that involves exposure to extreme temperatures, including both hot and cold areas. The environment is fast-paced, with physical and repetitive tasks such as lifting, stacking, and moving products. Personal protective equipment is required and provided, including smocks, hair nets, beard nets if needed, bump caps, and non-slip shoes.
The facility operates multiple shifts, with a 1st shift from 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and a 2nd shift from 3:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m., and schedules may include day or night (graveyard for sanitation only) and weekend work as needed.

This is a Contract position based out of Clovis, CA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $16.90 - $16.90/hr.
