Schedule: Full-Time

Pay Range: $146,473 – $190,424 annually

Bonus: Sign-on and relocation incentives available for eligible external hires

Job Overview

We are seeking an Assistant Nurse Manager, Labor & Delivery to join a 16-bed Labor & Delivery unit in Clovis, California. This role is ideal for an experienced L&D nurse who is ready to build on their bedside expertise and step into a leadership role supporting patient care, staff development, quality, safety, and daily unit operations.

The unit offers a modern, family-centered environment with private rooms, a supportive leadership team, and a close-knit culture focused on excellent care for mothers, babies, and families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support daily operations within the Labor & Delivery unit.
  • Coordinate patient care and help ensure safe, high-quality outcomes.
  • Provide guidance, support, and mentorship to nursing staff.
  • Help foster a positive, collaborative, and professional team culture.
  • Support quality, safety, and performance improvement initiatives.
  • Partner with nursing leadership to maintain strong department standards.
  • Serve as a reassuring clinical leader for patients, families, and staff.
Qualifications Required
  • Active California Registered Nurse license.
  • Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association.
  • Labor & Delivery nursing experience.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and patient care skills.
Preferred
  • Graduate of an approved nursing program.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
  • Prior charge nurse, lead nurse, or nursing leadership experience.
