Charge Nurse; RN; Labor and Delivery

Role Overview

Seeking a Labor and Delivery Charge Nurse (RN) to join a dedicated team in a 16-bed unit. You will serve as the primary liaison among care team members, physicians, patients, and families, ensuring patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance. Your responsibilities include coordinating patient flow, staff assignments, and overseeing daily operations to maintain a supportive and efficient environment.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a staff RN in Labor & Delivery or demonstrated competency.
• At least 6 months of experience as a Relief Charge RN or in a team leadership role.
• Valid RN license to practice in California.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.

• Strong leadership, communication, and coordination skills.
