Strong swimmers only. Must be 16 years of age or older and able to work outdoors in hot temperatures.

Closely monitor activities in the pool and keep track of each person in the water and around the pool, on the platforms, slide runouts or on the slides. Scan the pool and area for unsafe acts/behavior and unsanitary conditions and provide safety rule enforcement as well as emergency care and first aid when necessary. Interact with guests at slide platforms and runouts, providing safety rule instruction and enforcement.

Applicants must be able to work by themselves and in teams. Must be able to work outdoors in high temperature settings for multiple hours with required breaks and hydrating. Must be able to remain focused on their job duties and not be distracted by socializing. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs., maintain basic mobility standards and work on their feet for extended periods of time.

NO LIFEGUARD EXPERIENCE NECESSARY.

LD WATER ADVENTURE PARK. A fee is associated with obtaining certification.

Lifeguarding is a challenging yet rewarding job position. Successful applicants will receive up to 5 certifications, including CPR, basic first aid, and blood borne pathogens.
