Sales Associate SGC (Sales)

The Sales Associate supports the companys business development and revenue growth initiatives by identifying new opportunities, building client relationships, and assisting in the pursuit of civil construction projects. This role works closely with the business development team, estimating team, operations team, and executive leadership team to help develop proposals, maintain CRM systems, and strengthen relationships with developers, EPCs and subcontractors. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, relationship-oriented, and interested in developing a long-term career in business development.

CORE

AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY Business Development & Lead Generation
  • Identify and research potential clients and project opportunities within target markets.
  • Assist in developing and maintaining a pipeline of current and prospective projects.
  • Support outreach efforts including cold calls, email campaigns, and networking.
  • Attend industry events, trade shows, and pre-bid meetings as needed.
Client Relationship Support
  • Maintain regular communication with existing and prospective clients.
  • Support relationship development with clients and strategic partners.
  • Track client interactions and follow-up actions in the company CRM system.
Proposal & Preconstruction Support
  • Coordinate with estimating and operations teams to gather materials for proposals and bid submissions.
  • Assist in preparation of qualification packages, RFP responses, and presentation materials.
  • Track bid deadlines and submission requirements.
Market Intelligence
  • Monitor project bidding platforms and public bid listings.
  • Track competitor activity and market trends.
  • Maintain updated database of subcontractors, partners, and clients.
Administrative & Reporting
  • Maintain accurate records in CRM.
  • Prepare weekly activity reports.
  • Support forecasting and pipeline reporting efforts.
