Advanced Gastroenterologist / Advanced Endoscopist – ERCP & EUS | Locum Tenens – Albuquerque, NM

HPA Healthcare is seeking a Board-Certified Gastroenterologist with advanced endoscopy experience in both ERCP and EUS for a high-acuity inpatient locum tenens opportunity in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

• Estimated 12-Hour Clinical Pay: $6,600
• Separate overnight call compensation
• Additional callback compensation when applicable
• ERCP required
• EUS required
• Ongoing assignment
• 7–14 consecutive-day coverage blocks
• 7:00 AM–7:00 PM in-house
• Overnight call 7:00 PM–7:00 AM
• Approximately 15+ patients
• Approximately 5–10 admissions
• High-acuity inpatient GI
• Epic EMR
• 3 RNs + 3 APPs
• Temporary privileges available
• Travel support
• Malpractice coverage provided

This is an advanced inpatient Gastroenterology opportunity requiring physicians who can independently provide both ERCP and EUS.

The physician will provide 12 hours of in-house coverage for rounding, consultations, admissions and advanced GI procedures, followed by overnight beeper call.

Providers must be available for complete 7–14 day coverage blocks.

Regular Clinical Pay: $550/hour

12-Hour Clinical Day: $6,600

Additional compensation applies for overnight call, qualifying callback, overtime and holiday coverage.

The compensation structure reflects the advanced procedural requirements and extended coverage commitment of the assignment.

• Board Certified in Gastroenterology
• ERCP required
• EUS required
• Active New Mexico medical license
• Active NM Board of Pharmacy registration
• DEA dedicated to New Mexico
• ACLS
• BLS
• Current advanced endoscopy experience
• High-acuity inpatient GI experience
• Ability to cover complete 7–14 day blocks
• Comfortable supervising APPs
• Clean background required for temporary privileges

Travel support is available in accordance with assignment guidelines, including qualifying airfare, lodging, rental car and mileage expenses.
