Elementary Middle School School Psychologist - Clovis, Mexico

Qualifications and

Experience:

• Masters degree in School Psychology or closely related field
• Valid New Mexico school psychologist license required
• Experience with elementary, middle, and/or high school students preferred
• Strong assessment, counseling, and crisis intervention skills
• Knowledge of effective interventions and academic support strategies
• Excellent communication abilities to collaborate with educators, administrators, and families

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psycho-educational evaluations to assess students learning, behavioral, and psychological needs
• Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and support staff to design and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Provide direct intervention and counseling services to students as appropriate
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to develop student support strategies
• Consult with parents and guardians regarding student progress and recommendations
• Deliver professional development and guidance to faculty on educational and behavioral concerns
• Support the creation of positive school climates emphasizing mental health and well-being
