Overview
Retirement Plan Specialist for the Tax Exempt Market – responsible for delivering on‑site education, one‑on‑one advisory sessions, and participant support for Plan Sponsors and their employees.
Responsibilities- Deliver on‑site education for Plan Sponsor Participants.
- Conduct educational seminars and webinars on plan features, investments, and retirement topics.
- Meet one‑on‑one to conduct financial advisory investment counseling with employees and retirees.
- Interface with Plan Administration, legal counsel, and Plan Sponsors to identify, resolve, and respond to participant issues.
- Work with Plan Sponsors to increase employee participation.
- Contribute to development and implementation of presentation materials.
- Assist in scheduling retirement seminars and one‑on‑one appointments.
- Maintain compliance with firm and FINRA regulatory requirements.
- Provide guidance and training to more junior staff (additional responsibilities may be assigned).
- Minimum 3 years of experience in retirement or financial services.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- FINRA Series 6 or 7 and 63, 65.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner.
- Proficiency in gathering and analyzing information to develop alternative solutions.
- Commitment to continuous improvement and quality promotion.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to accuracy and thoroughness.
- Ability to travel.
Annual base salary range: $63,470 – $79,340 USD. In addition to base salary, Voya offers incentive opportunities based on performance.
