Mortgage Loan Consultant
Job Summary:
Join our dynamic team as a Mortgage Loan Consultant, where you will play a pivotal role in helping residential mortgage clients navigate the loan process. This full-time position reports to the Branch Manager and is centered on delivering exceptional service from application to closing.
- Organize and manage your schedule effectively.
- Be accessible to clients and team members, returning calls the same day.
- Gather necessary documentation from applicants efficiently.
- Analyze complex financial statements with accuracy.
- Advise and recommend various mortgage loan products tailored to clients' individual financial situations.
- Review and lock interest rates with borrowers in accordance with pricing strategies and procedures.
- Foster strong relationships with prospective and current clients, builders, realtors, and title agents while providing exceptional customer service.
- Issue prequalification letters that comply with regulatory requirements.
- Achieve or exceed sales goals as set by the Branch Manager.
- Engage in weekly pipeline meetings with processors.
- Collaborate with loan processing and closing departments to ensure accurate and timely processing and closing of loans.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel) and Adobe Acrobat, with a high level of technological adaptability.
- Proven track record of effective verbal and written communication, characterized by proactivity and precision.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of prioritizing tasks, multi-tasking, managing time, problem-solving, and working independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Self-starter who takes initiative and resourcefully identifies and resolves issues for effective outcomes.
- Solid mathematical and analytical proficiency.
- Good judgment and the ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
- A professional, friendly, courteous, and positive demeanor, with a collaborative and client-centric approach that values diversity and inclusion.
