- Doctorate or Master’s in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
- Current state license as Physical Therapist (or eligibility to obtain). PDS provides guidance for licensure across states.
- Experience or interest in pediatric and/or school-based settings preferred
- Strong collaborative, communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to student-first therapy and working within educational frameworks
- Deliver high-quality services to students, assessing and addressing gross motor skills, mobility, posture/positioning, functional movement, and adaptive physical education where applicable.
- Conduct evaluations, write reports, monitor progress and participate in IEP/504 plan development.
- Collaborate with teachers, OTs, SLPs, administrators and families to meaningfully embed PT recommendations into the school day and routines.
- Consult with classroom and special education staff to adapt environments and tasks, promoting student access, independence and participation in school-based activities.
- Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement, professional growth and student empowerment.
