Work Shift:

- Schedule and coordinate patient appointments while providing accurate instructions, directions, and appointment details.
- Monitor provider schedules, identify scheduling issues, reschedule no-shows, and support timely patient access.
- Verify and update patient demographics, insurance information, and referrals in the electronic medical record.
- Manage incoming calls, provide information, document messages, and route requests appropriately while maintaining HIPAA standards.
- Support referral processes, including entering referrals, coordinating documentation, and assisting patients with referral questions.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing patient concerns, resolving issues when possible, and documenting feedback.
- Apply knowledge of Advanced Access scheduling practices and collaborate with care teams to optimize patient flow.
- Maintain accurate records and complete administrative tasks to support providers, patients, and clinic operations.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Minimum nine months of experience in an office, healthcare, or customer service environment required.
- Must successfully complete Epic scheduling competency within 90 days of hire.
- One or more years of experience in a provider office, call center, or similar healthcare environment preferred.
