Description:

We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) in Carlsbad, NM. The PTA will assist Physical Therapists in implementing rehabilitative programs to help patients regain mobility, manage pain, and improve quality of life.

Requirements:

• Associate's degree in Physical Therapy Assisting from an accredited program.
• New Mexico state license or eligibility for licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
• Previous experience in a clinical or healthcare setting preferred.
• Knowledge of therapeutic techniques and practices for physical therapy.

Responsibilities:

• Assist Physical Therapists in conducting patient assessments and developing treatment plans.
• Implement therapeutic exercises and modalities as prescribed by the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Monitor and document patient progress during therapy sessions.
• Educate patients and families on exercises and activities for home care.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient care and outes.
