Summary:

Presbyterian is hiring a Physical Therapist to evaluate patients and deliver a broad range of therapeutic interventions focused on rehabilitating physical and developmental disorders.

• Evaluate and treat patients regarding the application of a wide variety of therapeutic interventions for rehabilitation of physical function and developmental disorders.
• Demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span of patients served.
• Oversee and insure a comprehensive rehabilitation program designed to meet the physical, psychosocial, and immediate environmental well-being of the patient.
• Promote patient/caregiver self-determination by optimizing outside resource utilization to achieve the highest level of independence.
• Coordinate and communicate with various disciplines or services involved in patient care.
• Coordinate efforts toward discharge goals established at initial evaluation and during episode of care.
• Serve as patient advocate.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Basic understanding of the rules and regulations of the specific setting.

• Physical Therapist:
  Less than one year experience in physical therapy.
• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy.
• Doctorate of Physical Therapy preferred.

This position offers a $40,000 sign-on bonus for qualified candidates who commit to a three-year employment agreement. Bonus payout terms apply.
