Make an impact supporting students’ communication needs in an engaging school-based setting near Rio Rancho, NM. This full-time contract opportunity offers 37.5 hours per week working at the elementary and secondary levels. Qualifications:

• Active New Mexico state SLP license
• Teacher Certification through NMPED
• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Open to both Clinical Fellows (CF) and those holding the CCC-SLP designation
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage a caseload of approximately 40-50 students
• Experience in K-12 and working with culturally and linguistically diverse populations is a plus

Role Responsibilities:

• Conduct speech-language assessments and interpret results to inform individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Deliver targeted therapy to students at both the elementary and secondary school levels
• Document progress and collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Develop and implement evidence-based intervention strategies
• Support students’ communication across academic and social environments
• Maintain accurate records in compliance with district, state, and federal guidelines
