The Pediatric Nurse will be responsible for delivering clinical care, monitoring patient health, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, and educating families to support optimal outcomes in home and community-based settings. Ideal candidates will have pediatric experience, strong clinical judgment, and a commitment to serving diverse populations with empathy and professionalism.
Additional Areas of Responsibility:
Conduct comprehensive development assessments of infants and toddlers, including developmental milestones, and health status evaluations.
Develop and implement individualized care plans in coordination with families and multidisciplinary teams.
Provide education to parents and caregivers on developmental support, health maintenance, and early intervention strategies.
Other Information/Requirements:
Valid New Mexico nursing license. 1-2 years experience with inpatient and outpatient settings, including clinic experience in pediatrics or primary care environments.
Pediatric, maternal-child, or related experience.
Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations, medical records management, discharge planning, and diagnostic evaluation processes.
Excellent patient service skills with a compassionate approach to family-centered care.
