Job Summary

The candidate will support USSTRATCOM at Offutt AFB, NE, providing cyber threat mitigation and continuous monitoring for the Cyber Security Service Provider (CSSP) Information Systems Continuous Monitoring mission.

Essential Functions
  • Supports DCO 24x7 operations for the USSTRATCOM CSSP Continuous Monitoring mission.
  • Performs cyber threat mitigation for USSTRATCOM enterprise systems.
  • Ensures CSSP functional capabilities are continuously monitored for alerts, warning, and indicators of cybersecurity events.
  • Manages correlation and analysis of cybersecurity events to identify anomalous or malicious activities.
  • Works with systems and network administrators to protect, monitor, analyze, detect, and respond to cybersecurity events.
  • Maintains situational awareness of CSSP capabilities and provides notification of degradations and unscheduled outages.
  • Proactively troubleshoots, analyzes, identifies, deconflicts, and isolates problems impacting CSSP functional capabilities.
  • Recommends courses of action to restore impacted systems and implements actions approved by USSTRATCOM.
  • Documents DCO actions in the CSSP master stations log and correlates technical activities.
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in information security or a related field.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Credential:
    CySA+, CBROPS, CFR, FITSP‑O, GCIA, GDSA, GICSP, or GCFA.
  • Security clearance:
    Top Secret (SCI eligibility required).
Preferred Qualifications
  • ITIL Foundation.
  • CISSP, CISM, Certified SOC Analyst, GIAC Certified Enterprise Defender (GCED), GIAC GCIH, or GIAC DCIA.
