Overview
Sr. Enterprise Application Analyst Fusion Supply Chain (Mfg, Operations) will develop, influence, and implement a partner strategy that aligns business units (BU) and Digital Business Team (DBT). The role supports the AV Digital Transformation initiative by collaborating with Business Partners to determine strategic direction for BU-specific and enterprise-wide solutions. The analyst acts as a BU subject matter expert and showcases the potential of digital transformation for the company.
PositionResponsibilities
- Partners with business units and ensures every business decision is viewed through the customer lens.
- Collaborates with partner BUs to reimagine processes using people, process, data, and technology.
- Utilizes Oracle Fusion standard processes to minimize customizations while weighing AV DOD needs and best practices.
- Communicates the value of the relationship with AV Business Partners to team members and customers.
- Acts as the SME for designated partner business units.
- Attends designated partner BU meetings and shadows team members.
- Documents workflows and day-to-day operations.
- Explain day-in-the-life for various roles within partner BU; develop subject-matter knowledge in technology and business areas.
- Serves as a trusted advisor to the BU and functions as a key point of contact for BU & DBT stakeholders.
- Works with BU leadership to establish and maintain goals and DBT solution road map to improve strategic planning.
- Uses business analysis techniques and business cases to define high-level product features and service levels for IT offerings.
- Focuses on business value, including digital awareness, risk assessments, business continuity, and capability requirements.
- Stays informed on industry and technology trends to foster creativity and innovation.
- Performs business process gap analysis to optimize processes towards digitalization and automation.
- Analyzes business requirements, collaborates with DBT teams to identify data elements, and prepares detailed specifications for development.
- Develops deep knowledge of the BU and builds positive relationships across the organization.
- Participates in IT strategy development with the IT team and defines business requirements for designated BUs.
- Writes requirements to obtain data from enterprise data teams and analyzes data for trends to improve the business.
- Monitors technology planning and deployment progress aligned with the business vision; surfaces and shapes demand for technology capabilities.
- Contributes to requirements, design, and review sessions and identifies business-based risks.
- Leads design sessions prototyping new systems to enhance processes and information flow.
- Ensures collaboration and availability of business resources for all projects.
- Promotes the business vision into working practice and ensures adoption of the implemented solution.
- Communicates with business leadership to evaluate joint initiatives against roadmaps and priorities.
- Demonstrates Oracle Discrete Manufacturing and Operations capabilities to solve business problems.
- Gathers requirements with business users and is accountable for feasibility and solution delivery; approves changes to high-level requirements.
- Anticipates bottlenecks and provides escalation management.
- Analyzes end-to-end, moderate to high complexity processes in one or more functional areas.
- Collaborates with peers and project managers to balance BU and enterprise optimization.
- Transfers knowledge on proposed solutions and BU needs to leadership and peers.
- Collaborates with peers on similar workflows/terminology to ensure a common process across departments; aligns technology strategy with functional requirements.
- Anticipates tradeoffs and balances business needs with technical constraints to maximize benefits.
- Manages enhancement requests post-implementation on a release schedule.
- Monitors production issues for opportunities to enhance workflows; escalates when necessary.
- Serves as the business SME to prioritize technology projects and align with ROI, guiding BU and IT strategy.
- Partners with PMO and manages cross-functional projects focusing on integration, implementation, and adoption of IT solutions.
- Supports development and execution of strategic plans, including presentations and reports for leadership.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Minimum 12-15 years of BRM/BA experience with Oracle ERP/Fusion Applications; experience with multiple SaaS and cloud systems.
- Extensive experience with Oracle modules:
Order Management, Inventory, Purchasing/Receiving, ASCP, BOM, WIP, Quality, MES.
- Inventory, Manufacturing, and Operations knowledge; plus experience in Projects Manufacturing, Project Costing, and Project Contracts.
- Oracle Fusion – Oracle Product Hub (PIM) is a plus.
- Knowledge of Quote-to-Order and Order-to-Cash processes.
