PositionScope and Organizational Impact
Moss’ Solar Safety Manager supports the Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) team in developing, implementing, monitoring, and continuously improving Moss Solar’s EHS programs, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulatory requirements within an assigned project. This position leads a project site’s EHS functions.
EssentialJob Duties and Responsibilities
- Lead EHS functions on a project site.
- Provide direction and oversight of the project EHS team.
- Prioritize, delegate, and complete multiple tasks.
- Maintain and implement EHS programs, compliance plans, and initiatives on the assigned site.
- Influence and partner strategically with project and construction teams.
- Keep safety credentials current.
- Evaluate environmental, health, and safety related risks.
- Apply record‑keeping principles and practices.
- Work independently and with a team with attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Associates or BS in Occupational Health and Safety (preferred) or greater than 5 years of leadership experience in a related field.
- Knowledge of DOT/DOL/EPA regulation and OSHA/industrial safety compliance as they relate to the power generation industry.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, including tact and diplomacy.
- Ability to interact and communicate effectively at all levels and across diverse cultures.
- Effective organization and planning skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and ability to safely drive a company vehicle.
- Proficiency with standard office software programs, including spreadsheets, databases, and word processing.

Job LocationNew Mexico, Colorado, Florida, etc. – multi‑state requirement up to 100% travel.
ClassificationFull time – exempt – salaried.
