Oversee the daily operations of La Mesita Ranch, ensuring a positive and safe experience for guests while maintaining the property and staff. This role encompasses a wide range of responsibilities, from guest services and staff management to financial oversight and facility maintenance. A successful manager blends strong hospitality and business acumen with excellent communication and problem-solving skill.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS- Oversees the upkeep of the properties facilities, including homes, barns, pools and common areas.
- Manages hiring, training, and scheduling staff, including groundskeepers and maintenance personnel.
- Lead and successfully manage crews to ensure all accounts are completed within guidelines, budgets, and work hours.
- Manages the budget, handles expenses, and optimizes revenue through pricing and marketing strategies.
- Organizes events and activities to foster a sense of community among guests.
- Establish and maintain relationships with clients, as well as provide timely and effective assistance to clients for any potential and existing problems.
- Direct and coordinate staff for management of contracted projects, ensuring proper staffing while maintaining profitability for Superior Landscapes
- Ensure safety on every project by enforcing safety training as well as consistently monitor job sites for potential safety hazards.
- Other duties as assigned
- Outstanding verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills to interact with guests and staff.
- Strong background in hospitality management and customer service.
- Strong organizational and time management skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Ability to lead and motivate a team of employees.
- Understanding of budgeting, financial management, and revenue optimization.
- Strong conflict resolution and critical-thinking skills.
- Computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- A valid Driver's License
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- High school diploma or GED preferred
5 through 7 years of successful supervisory/management related progressive experience plus a four-year degree related to the discipline. Can be equivalent to a high school diploma and at least 9 years of applicable and progressive related experience.
- Demonstrated proficiency in solving practical problems in a variety of situations where standardization of concrete variables exists such as policies, procedures, regulations, and processes.
Primarily outdoor work setting, 100%.
Must be available for day work.
Flexible work schedule, may be required to work nights, weekends and holidays.
