Quality Technician

We are looking for a talented Quality Technician to join our team specializing in Quality for our Cummins Inc. facility in Clovis, NM.

• Support production and inspection activities by working closely with Engineers to ensure products meet defined quality and performance standards.
• Monitor material quality within processing operations, identifying issues and supporting necessary adjustments to maintain consistent output.
• Maintain accurate documentation and records that support traceability, compliance, and effective quality reporting.
• Identify defects by comparing physical characteristics of components, materials, and equipment against technical specifications.
• Conduct basic functional, reliability, and packaging tests, recording results and preparing clear, straightforward technical reports.
• Perform product and component testing using a variety of measurement and inspection equipment to validate conformance.
• Assist internal and external customers in understanding product specifications and interpreting measurement data for proper application.
• Ensure measurement accuracy by supporting calibration, maintenance of test equipment, and participating in measurement uncertainty studies.

• Collaborate effectively across teams to build strong working relationships that support shared goals and drive consistent outcomes.
• Communicate clearly and appropriately with different audiences, ensuring technical and non‑technical information is understood and actionable.
• Maintain a strong customer focus by building trusted relationships and delivering solutions aligned to customer needs and expectations.
• Apply sound decision‑making and problem‑solving skills to navigate complexity and keep work moving forward efficiently.
• Leverage expertise in measurement science, quality process management, and laboratory operations to ensure accurate results, compliant processes, and effective management of technical and business requirements.

• High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.
• This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
• Requires some work experience and intermediate level knowledge obtained through training or on-the-job experience.

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Power Point
