Job Overview
The Dairy Sanitation Quality Assurance Specialist will cover the New Mexico region near Clovis and Roswell, providing strong milk quality technical information to sales and service teams within MICRO and to external consultants and dairy customers. The goal is to utilize current and new technology from Micro along with new research in teat dips, udder health management, and improvements in parlor procedures to monitor, evaluate, and ensure the highest quality of milk is being produced within customer facilities.
Responsibilities- Visit customer and potential customer locations to monitor and evaluate parlors, identifying items to improve or replace for optimal milk quality.
- Provide audit results and recommendations to the Dairy Sanitation Service team, assisting them as needed.
- Offer technical sales and support for dairy sanitation, guiding sales and service teams on solutions and needs.
- Educate consultants and customers on the value and technical benefits of the Micro Milk Quality management program, including Pro Control Blender, Pro Control Parlor, Dairy Chemical Mixer, and available technologies.
- Build strong relationships with dairy consultants and contribute to the adoption of Micro’s Milk Quality program across different milking procedures.
- Coordinate comprehensive technical training and support for Micro employees, dairy customers, and consultants.
- Assist in implementing new products and investigating uses for existing products within the program.
- Support the Dairy Sanitation Service Team and dairy customers in the use of Micro’s sanitation products.
- Present technical information to sales and operation teams to promote company knowledge of dairy opportunities.
- Troubleshoot milk quality issues at customer sites and report opportunities for sanitation improvements to leadership.
- Develop and oversee training programs and technical presentations for Dairy Sanitation Service and Sales teams, customers, and internal teams.
- Develop and monitor dairy‑specific KPIs for evaluating and improving technologies and programs.
- Travel to customer locations as required.
- Minimum of 5 years experience in dairy sanitation or milk quality within the dairy industry.
- Associate’s degree preferred.
- Strong communication skills and ability to train and lead a team.
- Experience in assessing milking equipment systems and troubleshooting milk quality issues.
- Broad knowledge of dairy sanitation products and strong understanding of milk quality management.
