Congressman Gabe Vasquez is the only Democrat to win New Mexico’s second congressional district two consecutive cycles and one of a few Democrats that outperformed Donald Trump in 2024. The fight for NM-02 is a microcosm of all the issues Democrats are struggling with on the national stage– from winning back Latino voters to creating meaningful rural engagement programs.
The Gabe Vasquez for Congress team is a group of high-energy and seasoned political operatives relentlessly focused on delivering a historic third win in NM-02.
About the RoleGabe Vasquez for Congress is seeking an Operations Manager to help manage critical pieces of data and campaign operations. The ideal candidate will have previous experience as a volunteer or staff on a political, issue, or advocacy campaign and strong attention to detail and follow through.
This is a full-time, in-person role based in New Mexico with a salary range of $4,500 - $6,000/mo, commensurate with experience. This position reports directly to the Campaign Manager and works in close collaboration with other staff in executing their duties and supporting the day-to-day operations of the campaign. Applicants must have the ability to travel to events and meetings across New Mexico’s second congressional district and must have a valid driver's license.
This is a cycle position, expected to end in November 2026.
