Job Summary

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) will provide patient/resident care as required under the direct supervision of the licensed nurse.

TheCNA at Retirement Ranchcompletes assigned tasks to ensure timely,efficientandsafepatient/resident care. Communication and interactions with patients, residents,families and other healthteammembersis an essentialcomponentof this position.

Compensation

CNAbase hourly wage:$19.00 – $22.28 per hourdependenton experience

PLUSshift differentials- $1.00 per hour NOC shiftand $1.50 per hour Weekend shift

Key Responsibilities
  • Performs initial and ongoing data collection on all patients/residents under the direction of the Registered Nurse/Licensed Practical Nurse.
  • Implements plan of care developed by the Registered Nurse based on patient/resident physical, psychosocial, cultural,ethnicand religious/spiritual needs.
  • Provides direct patient/resident care andreportscondition and changes to RN or LPN.
  • Demonstrates time management and prioritization of tasks.
  • Document results of patient/resident care within established policies,procedure sand scope of practice.
  • Nutritional care
  • Effective communication with residents and family
  • Completes all other duties as assigned.
Qualifications

Required:

  • Must be in good standing on the State Nursing Assistant registry or appropriate entity
  • Ability to meet physical and job-related requirements
  • Must be English literate andpossessexcellent writtenandverbal communication skills

Preferred:

  • Previous hospital or long-termcare or skilled nursing experience
