Summary:
The competent Nurse,inthesameorsimilarclinicalsetting,practicesindependentlyanddemonstratesanawarenessofallrelevantaspectsofasituation.
Providesroutineandcomplexcare,withtheabilitytoonlong-rangegoalsorplans.
Continuestodeveloptheabilitytocopewithandmanagecontingenciesofclinicalnursing.
Makesappropriateassignmentsanddelegatestoothercareprovidersasameanstohelpmanagetheclinicalsituation.

Assesslearningneedsandprovideseducationtopatients,familymembersand/orcaregivers;identifyissuesandresources.
