Job Description:
  • Tracks and monitors budget for employee health activities including ordering of supplies and related expenses.
  • Develops and implements educational training for employee health team and team members.
  • Provides direct supervision to employee health team in either onboarding centers or facility employee health clinics.
  • Provides education and training to employee/occupational health staff on latest methodology and best practice standards and provides clinical expertise in the field of employee/occupation health.
  • Establish and implement appropriate staffing and hours of operation to suit both the needs of the department and to customers to ensure the delivery of safe and effective care.
  • Tracks data and metrics related to occupational health and creates and provides reports required by internal and external reporting committees.
  • Reviews, evaluates, and maintains documentation system and Electronic Medical Record for designated programs.
  • Collaborates and services on various committees across multiple departments including infection prevention, nursing leadership, human resources, corporate division and others.
  • Collaborates with Sr Manager and Medical Director and reviews medical directives.
  • Supervises employee health team in delivering healthcare consistent with standards of practice and organization policy.
  • Manages activities of occupational health programs including new hire onboarding, vaccine administration and management, blood and body fluid exposure, respirator fit programs, and facility-based employee health clinics.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and effectively provide leadership and direction in a high volume fast paced environment. [Required]
  • Ability to manage remote clinics efficiently and effectively. Multi-state/multi-region. [Required]
  • Ability to understand and effectively help facilitate strategies and goals and organizational objectives. [Required]
  • Demonstrate knowledge of Employee Health practices, Occupational Health Issues and Worker's Compensation. [Required]
  • Demonstrate knowledge of Employee & Corporate Wellness practices and programs. [Required]
  • Ability to maintain in strict confidence all personal information and must possess and model the highest level of personal integrity. [Required]
  • Demonstrated experience with proactive influence and change management. [Required]
  • Must have exceptional verbal and written communication skills. [Required]
  • PureOHS and Epic EMR and Scheduling Systems knowledge required. [Required]
  • Knowledge of Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments (CLIA) waived lab requirements [Preferred]
Education:
  • Technical/Vocational School [Required]
Field of Study:

Work Experience:
  • 2+ years management experience and oversight of employee or occupational health services [Preferred]
  • 2+ years’ experience in employee health, occupational health, workers compensation or industrial health. [Preferred]
