About the Role:

The Quality Technician plays a critical role in ensuring that products meet the highest standards of quality and compliance before reaching customers. This position involves conducting detailed inspections, performing tests, and analyzing data to identify defects or deviations from specifications. The Quality Technician collaborates closely with production teams to implement corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives. By maintaining accurate documentation and adhering to regulatory requirements, this role helps safeguard the company’s reputation and customer satisfaction.

Ultimately, the Quality Technician ensures that all products consistently meet or exceed quality benchmarks, contributing to operational excellence and business success.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine and non-routine inspections of raw materials, in-process components, and finished products to verify conformance to quality standards.
  • Conduct various tests using precision measurement tools and equipment to assess product attributes and identify defects.
  • Document inspection results and test data accurately in quality management systems and generate reports for review.
  • Collaborate with manufacturing and engineering teams to investigate quality issues and support root cause analysis and corrective actions.
  • Assist in maintaining calibration records and ensuring all testing equipment is properly maintained and calibrated.
  • Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and demonstrating compliance with quality procedures.
  • Participate in continuous improvement projects aimed at enhancing product quality and process efficiency.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required;
    Associate degree or higher in a related technical field preferred.
  • At least 1-2 years of experience in a quality control or quality assurance role within a manufacturing environment.
