• Provide member service and assistance throughout the store.
• Maintain the checkout area and ensure proper operation of point‑of‑sale equipment.
• Resolve member issues and concerns, including returns, refunds, and exchanges per company policies.
• Promote Sam’s Club products and services to members.
• Guide and support members with self‑service technology and mobile retail applications.
• Process member purchases and assist with payments.
• Follow company safety standards, conduct safety sweeps, and report unsafe situations.
• Handle merchandise according to proper procedures and report any shrink or damage.
• Maintain entrance and exit areas, verify membership cards, and assist with purchasing decisions.
• Ensure a safe shopping environment for members and coworkers.
• Assist with asset protection by monitoring for potential criminal activity and maintaining necessary documentation.
• Support emergency response procedures and comply with security and safety practices.
• Train and mentor Member Frontline Services associates on processes, technology, and new programs.
• Collaborate with managers and colleagues to prioritize tasks, communicate progress, and recommend improvement opportunities.
• Apply the Open Door Policy and uphold the company’s ethics and integrity standards.
• Promote a culture of teamwork, respect, and continuous learning.
• Deliver results while putting the customer and member first.
• Demonstrate curiosity, take calculated risks, and drive continuous improvement.

• Retail experience, including operating front‑end equipment (e.g., cash register).
• Experience working with mobile retail applications.

The hourly wage range for this position is $17.00 to $25.00. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location.

Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.
